Economics

Economics | This is a one-semester course that will focus on both macro and microeconomic concepts. Upon successful engagement with the coursework, students will feel prepared to make informed decisions about their trajectory over the next several years, leading to gainful employment and financial well-being. Students will participate in a variety of projects such as developing career plans, simulating budgets based on chosen careers, creating stock portfolios, serving on a committee to review the Federal Budget, and more. As this is the last stop before post-secondary pursuits, the course prioritizes student choice, autonomy, and expression, encouraging exploration based on individual interests while requiring high levels of critical thinking.
