10th Grade Global History
10th Grade Global History | Global History I is the first year of a two-year journey through the Global History sequence. In this course, students will explore impactful events and people prior to 1750 from multiple perspectives. There is a strong focus on developing historical thinking skills such as sourcing, contextualization, and corroboration. Students will also engage in group work and collaborative learning. The ultimate goal of the course is to understand how and why society is the way it is today, while making meaningful connections to students’ own identities, histories, local communities, and the modern world. Through this process, students will gain valuable perspective on how they can contribute to improving their communities and society as a whole. The course is designed to be a fun, interesting, and rewarding experience.
