Vocational Opportunities

Students interested in trade school after high school are encouraged to explore the following programs and speak to Ms. Lieberman and Mr. Ramirez about vocational opportunities.
Co-op Tech

The school of cooperative technical education exists to provide students with the opportunity to learn both the traditional trades along with a variety of state of the art technology courses. Our students will develop the skills to become independent, self supporting, life long learners in an increasingly complex and technologically based society.

Bridges: From School to Work

The NYC Bridges program began in 2018. NYC Bridges serves in-school and out-of-school young adults ages 17-24. Bridges staff members, known as Youth Employment Specialists, work with young adults individually and in groups to identify career goals, develop interviewing skills, connect with employers, create a résumé, apply for jobs, get a job, and succeed in a job. Employer Representatives work closely with each young person, providing instruction, guidance, and mentoring that increases confidence, builds character, and enhances professionalism.
