Number of Years at BCA: This is my 18th year at BCA, (formally BELHS: Bronx Expeditionary Learning HS.)

Favorite BCA memory:

I have so many great memories of BCA! We have been on so many trips, have done so many science investigations, and have even planted trees and flowers outside the main entrance. One of my favorite memories was when my classes raised Painted Lady caterpillars in the classroom. We took data on their growth and development and released the Painted Lady butterflies outside of the TAFT school building in April.

Fun Fact:

I used to be a zookeeper at the Queens Zoo where I got to work closely with all types of animals! I trained sea lions, bobcats, parrots, llamas, and camels. I also went on a trip to Belize with the Zoo Director to look for and study wild jaguars.
