AP Literature & Composition Syllabus

WELCOME TO AP LITERATURE & COMPOSITION!

This course is designed to be a college level course, therefore you will be challenged to think, read, write and discuss at a level above the typical high school classroom. In this course we will explore some of the more prominent critical theories of literature, which you will encounter in higher education. We will use these lenses as a framework and launch point from which to study literature, and explore topics from various perspectives using additional sources such as video, television, news media, etc.

Please think critically and speak consciously every day.
