AP Language
AP English Language and Composition | This course is designed to help students master the art of rhetoric by exploring the four big ideas of rhetorical situation, claims and evidence, reasoning and organization, and style. Through the analysis of various texts and multimedia resources, students will learn to write strategically for different audiences and purposes. We will connect concepts in rhetoric and writing to real-world issues, helping students develop a deeper understanding of language's role in the world. The course will also emphasize collaborative activities, shared writing, and discussions to foster a rich learning environment. The course concludes with the AP Language and Composition exam, which may earn students college credit with a passing score.
