AP Literature

AP English Literature and Composition | AP Literature challenges students to critically analyze complex texts across different genres such as poetry, prose, drama, film, and music, and time periods—from the sixteenth century to contemporary works, including poetry, prose, drama, film, and music. Students will also develop skills in literary analysis, character study, and writing revision, all while preparing for the AP exam and the college application process. The course concludes with the AP English Literature and Composition exam, which may earn students college credit with a passing score.
