Welcome to the BCA English Department  

Our English curriculum is designed to inspire a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking across all grade levels. Students will explore a variety of fiction and non-fiction texts while honing their analytical skills and developing their unique voice as writers. Throughout their high school journey, students will also build the essential skills needed to achieve a college-ready score on the English Regents Exam. By the end of their time at BCA, students will be well-prepared to think critically, communicate effectively, and express their ideas with confidence.
