Here's how BCA Reads works:

As a whole school (students and staff), we are going to read Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson.

We are reading two chapters each week. Here is the calendar.

Every Friday, we will send out a Google Form with questions about the two chapters you should have read that week. Anyone that answers the questions will be eligible for raffles and prizes! (Candy! Food! Merch! $$$!)

Every Thursday after school from 3:15-3:45pm, we will have a BCA Book Club for anyone that wants to come and discuss the chapters from that week (snacks will be provided).

When we finish the book, anyone that has read the whole book will get to go to the auditorium to watch the movie starring Michael B Jordan and Jamie Foxx. Here is the movie trailer.

There will also be a competition for students to be able to participate in a talk with the author Bryan Stevenson.
