National Honor Society-Club Page 2026-2027 Assignments

Please use the attached form to vote for your NHS Officers for next year!  PLEASE select the person/people who you think will be the BEST leadership choice for the position.  The success of the club is dependent on the leadership!  Current Seniors are also encouraged to vote.  VOTING WILL CLOSE ON FRIDAY, JUNE 20, 2025.

REMINDER!  This is DUE by June 15th!

It is a requirement that all students who wish to continue being a member of NHS complete at least 25 hours of community service and attend at least 75% of all general meetings, including trips, EACH YEAR. For those of you who are going to be seniors, this also means that you must meet this requirement in order to wear the blue stole and be recognized at graduation.  Community Service basically involves donating your time to anyone or anything without being paid.  If you are not sure if your service counts, please ask me.  You can complete this electronically, or get a paper copy from me at a meeting.

If you are running for Office, this is your platform to express yourself!  Tell everyone what you are running for and WHY they should vote for you.  Voting will go live on Monday!  Good Luck!

Bring in something to sell at the bake sale.  We need:
Juice, chips, candy, cookies, brownies, cupcakes, donuts, etc.  Leave it in Ms. Lieberman's Office.

Sign up here to help deliver roses to Senior Citizens on Friday 2/14. It will be during the school day, possibly around 4th or 5th period. Make sure you get a permission slip this week from Ms. Fries.

Needs to be returned to Ms. Fries BEFORE 3rd period on Wednesday, 2/5/25!

UPDATE: We are in the process of changing the dates to earlier in the week to accomodate for Ramadan, which begins in the evening on 2/28. Hi Everyone!  Please fill out the form regarding the overnight to be held on Friday, February 28th Saturday, March 1st.  We need this info ASAP if you want to participate.  The trip will be to the Kartrite Hotel in the Southern Catskill Mountains.

Hi NHS Members! We were off to a good start this school year and then.... things got busy and priorities got shifted. We understand that you all have other obligations and that many of you are involved in other activities, but we need to come up with a set day/time for meetings. Respond to the question with the option that works for you and the day/time you will committ to coming to meetings.

We need your help! Can you come after school on Friday to assist with the movie event? Community service hours will be granted.

Each year you must complete 25+ hours of community service. You need to keep a log of these hours and sign a NHS contract.  We will go over this at the first meeting, but I will attach it here for reference.
