Some of you have already drafted a thesis. Now we will make it even better!

Use the three-step phrase chart to create your thesis about coming of age texts.

Use the color-code to highlight each section of your thesis.

As we discuss "Marigolds," take notes with the class.

Choose a coming of age text to compare with "Marigolds," and chart the similarities/differences on the slide provided.

HW: Use your slide to construct your answer to the prompt. This is your thesis statement.
