Earth and Space Science
Earth and Space Science | This course introduces students to the study of Earth’s systems and our place in the universe. The concepts presented help students build knowledge of the physical world and the processes shaping it. During the first semester, students observe the night sky, study the universe, and explore the daily path of the sun, the phases of the moon, and the movement of tectonic plates and their impact on Earth and daily life.In the second semester, students focus on weather patterns and geological features, learning to interpret rock formations and the stories they tell about Earth’s past. This course culminates in June with the Earth and Space Science Regents Exam.
